Senior System Engineer (Project Team) - MSP Location: Remote (U.S.) with occasional onsite travel Overview A growing technology services organization is seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead infrastructure, cloud, and security projects in a modern MSP environment. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys project ownership, client-facing work, and delivering high-impact technical solutions. Responsibilities: • Lead and deliver infrastructure and modernization projects • Implement and support: • Network & firewall solutions • Server and VMware upgrades • Microsoft 365 & Azure migrations • Cloud deployments (Azure; AWS a plus) • Act as a technical lead during project delivery • Collaborate with MSP teams and customer success • Participate in occasional onsite travel as needed Requirements: • 8+ years in system engineering • Experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider • Strong experience with: • Firewalls: Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Barracuda • VMware virtualization • Azure (required); AWS (nice to have) • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Adaptable, client-focused, and culture-driven Compensation & Benefits • Target salary: $100,000-$130,000 (based on experience) • 15 days PTO + 11 holidays • Medical & dental (company covers 100%) • 401(k) with 4% match • Training and certification support
