Company Description Landmark Plastic is a leading manufacturer of horticultural plastic containers, trays, and propagation solutions. For over 40 years, we’ve been serving professional growers and distributors with innovative products that support the success of greenhouse and nursery operations across North America. Role Description We are seeking a driven Regional Sales Representative to manage and grow our Northeast territory, building relationships with greenhouse growers, distributors, and retail partners. This is a high-visibility role focused on delivering sales growth in a highly competitive market. Key Responsibilities • Territory Development – Manage and expand business with existing distributors and direct growers; identify and pursue new account opportunities. • Customer Engagement – Build consultative relationships with greenhouse growers by understanding their production cycles, space challenges, and crop needs, recommending the best Landmark products. • Distributor Management – Work closely with regional distributors (e.g., Griffin, BFG, etc.) to strengthen partnerships, align pricing/programs, and drive joint growth initiatives. • Technical Expertise – Become a trusted advisor by learning the applications of Landmark containers and trays within greenhouse and nursery operations. • Sales Performance – Achieve and exceed sales goals by driving volume (pounds), revenue, and market share growth across core product lines. • Market Insight – Monitor competitor activity (TO Plastics, East Jordan, HC Companies, imports) and communicate trends, pricing, and customer shifts to internal teams. • Forecasting & Reporting – Provide accurate sales forecasts, manage territory pipeline, and collaborate with operations on product demand and scheduling. • Industry Engagement – Represent Landmark at key trade shows and regional field days (Cultivate, Griffin Expo, MANTS, etc.). Qualifications & Experience • 3–5 years of successful sales experience in horticulture, greenhouse supply, or related agribusiness (seed, soil, fertilizer, irrigation, etc.). • Strong existing network of greenhouse growers and/or distributors within the Northeast region preferred. • Proven track record of growing territory sales, not just managing existing accounts. • Ability to travel extensively (40–60% within region). • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Resides within the Northeast territory (PA, NJ, MA, CT, RI or NY preferred for accessibility). • Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience accepted.
