Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. • Assist with floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning as required. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. • Provide support in residential painting and minor maintenance tasks when needed. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently. • Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties. Skills • Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions is preferred. • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous. • Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and maintenance procedures is a plus. • Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be beneficial. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management.
