Job Summary: This position has the primary responsibility as the customer service contact for all members, guests or prospects. The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for selling all Fitness and Tennis services, merchandise, and limited food and beverage items. Job Duties: • Creates the “First Impression” for the facility. Must be GENUINELY friendly and outgoing. • Greets and checks in all members and guests. Acknowledges members and guests as the leave • Sells all services, merchandise, and F&B products: records all sales transactions • Answers and directs all incoming phone calls • Fields all member complaints and concerns • Performs opening and closing duties for the facility, if assigned • Maintains the front desk area in a clean, neat and orderly manner • Attends monthly departmental meetings • Performs other duties as assigned Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to interact well with members • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills • Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task; strong attention to detail • A general understanding of health club operations • Must be a team player; may have a flexible work schedule • Must be reliable and be ready to work as per your schedule Schedule: Due to the volume of applications and resumes received, we may not have the ability to respond to each applicant individually. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.50 per hour Experience: • Customer service: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: • CPR Certification (Preferred) • AED Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
