Lakeside is hiring a Special Markets Account Manager who will assist in the continued growth in our non-traditional channels for Dover Publications and Lakeside Book Distribution clients. What You'll Do • Set strategic priorities for the Special Markets channel • Manage gift rep groups • Directly sell into key special market accounts • Lead account negotiations and evaluate proposals • Develop reporting and analysis to find and exploit sales opportunities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client publishers and key accounts • Manages one special markets support position What You Bring • 5 years in sales with management and related experience - outside of traditional book channels, preferred • Record of building strong relationships with clients, accounts, and growing sales • Excellent leadership and management skills – with a collaborative work style • Agility and ability to perform multiple tasks daily • Must be strategic and detail oriented What we offer you: • Paid time off • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • 401k with company match • Career growth opportunities • Employee Assistance Program • Employee appreciation & recognition programs About Us: Lakeside Book Company loves books!
