With more than 40,000 vacation rentals and 10,000+ more in the pipeline, we’re building the world’s first platform purpose-built for families who want authentic lakeside getaways. About the Role We're looking for a VP of Marketing who thinks like an operator, not a creative. This role is about building repeatable systems, optimizing channels, and letting data drive every decision. You will have responsibility for some creative work in addition to partnering with others to drive the creative vision. What You'll Own • Build and scale our marketing engine with clear metrics at every stage of the funnel • Own channel strategy and execution across paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing • Develop SOPs and frameworks that make marketing predictable and scalable • Manage marketing budget allocation based on ROI analysis and channel performance • Implement and optimize our marketing tech stack (CRM (salesforce), automation, analytics, attribution) • Create dashboards and reporting that connect marketing spend to revenue outcomes • Build and lead a small, data-focused marketing team (creative work gets outsourced) • Complete control over some creative projects created in house – but knowing when to call in other people • Work closely with the Chief Brand Officer to ensure a consistent company voice and strong alignment to the mission, vision, and values What We're Looking For • 7+ years in marketing with at least 3 years leading marketing functions • Strong analytical background—you're comfortable in spreadsheets • Deep expertise in digital marketing channels and their respective metrics • Track record of building marketing operations from the ground up or fixing broken ones • Experience with marketing attribution models and connecting marketing to revenue • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools You'll Excel Here If You • Default to testing and data rather than intuition • Can build a business case with unit economics and payback periods (in partnership with the CFO) • Enjoy process documentation and creating repeatable frameworks • Think in terms of CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and cohort analysis • Know when to outsource (creative, design) vs. build in-house (strategy, ops) • Can translate marketing performance into language for non-marketing professionals Compensation & Benefits • Fully remote environment (no risk of return to office) • Being an early employee at an exciting startup • Base salary of $150k with a $20k/year bonus (depending on measured KPI’s) Tools You Will Use While not exhaustive, we are including the tools below that you will use.
