Position Overview As part of La'Fleur Decor’s creative team, the Event Designer works closely with clients to create beautiful, large-scale floral and décor proposals for a variety of events. Skills: Expert in floral and event design Passionate, creative, and innovative Resourceful in spotting upcoming trends Fun, with a sense of humor and team spirit Ability to source and craft the perfect look Essential Duties: Conceptualize event themes and designs Lead floral and décor production, ensuring projects are delivered on time Develop custom proposals for floral designs for centerpieces, backdrops, and event settings Apply knowledge of color schemes, seasonal flowers, and floral sustainability for high-volume event work Participate in trend-setting brainstorming sessions with the team to explore new ideas Partner with the purchasing team to ensure timely flower orders for all projects Oversee sample presentations for clients, leading design execution and production Ensure adherence to company safety protocols in design and production environments Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to execute seamless events Qualifications 1+ years of experience in floral and event design Strong knowledge of design trends, floral construction, and event logistics Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capable of working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed Bilingual preferred Full time and Part time available
