We are currently seeking a Digital Accounts Specialist to join our dynamic team! In the role of Digital Accounts Specialist, our candidate will be a motivated 'first point of contact' representative for all membership-related questions, requests and concerns. The Digital Accounts Specialist assists members and potential members on their financial journeys. You will work closely with the Digital Accounts Supervisor to ensure that all aspects of the account application process and associated outreach are completed accurately, professionally and within established service levels. The Digital Accounts Specialist takes ownership of developing relationships, building trust and working with members to help them achieve their financial goals. The specialist communicates via multiple channels (phone, email, secure messages) in a fast-paced environment. You will perform welcome activities and relationship-building outreach calls. They provide primary support for fraud mitigation actions, including account overlays, and are responsible for account maintenance activities. Requirements A day in the life of a Digital Accounts Specialist includes: • Account Openings - Handling new account applications, ensuring that accounts are opened in accordance with established procedures. Accurately completing tasks, transactions and account maintenance actions with technology and tools. • Relationship-Building - Performing onboarding tasks to set the stage for membership, meeting objectives for sales / referrals goals to include checking accounts, certificates, direct deposits, investments, lending and other products & services. Understanding a member’s financial goals and identifying the cross-sell opportunities to benefit them. Driving member retention and increases the percentage of members that utilize Lafayette Federal as their primary financial institution. • Member Service - Communicating with members in a professional and empathetic manner, achieving member satisfaction scores that meet set targets. Ensuring onboarding satisfaction for members. • Collaboration – Providing feedback on experiences and is innovative with suggestions for improvement to processes. Coordinating with the New Accounts Supervisor and other employees within the department to ensure high levels of member satisfaction. Experience • Proven experience in similar or related positions. Customer service experience required and sales experience beneficial. • 1+ years of prior credit union or banking experience preferred. • Knowledge and experience of account opening activities and processes preferred. Education • High School education or GED Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
