POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Sales Operations & Integrated Business Planning is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and long-term business planning. This position leads the development and execution of sales strategies, oversees territory and quota planning, and ensures pipeline optimization through robust CRM management and performance analytics. As the sales lead in the S&OP process, the Director partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Line Management to evolve planning horizons and transition toward Integrated Business Planning. The role also serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating data-driven insights into actionable strategies that align sales enablement with customer demand and operational execution. Success in this role is measured by improvements in sales productivity, pipeline velocity, and the expansion of the 12-36 month planning cycle. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with executive influence, and brings expertise in forecasting tools, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.): Sales Operations & Enablement • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies that drive growth, improve productivity, and enhance efficiency. • Oversee territory design, quota planning, and pipeline optimization to ensure balanced coverage and goal alignment. • Develop and maintain account and territory sales planning processes • Manage CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) to ensure pipeline visibility, accurate reporting, and actionable insights. • Drive visibility to sales team through metrics & reporting tools Partner with Marketing to align go-to-market campaigns with sales objectives and maximize ROI. Planning Process Enhancements and Leadership • Serve as the Sales leader in the S&OP process. Provide feedback to Demand & Supply on opportunities to improve the S&OP process. • Lead company efforts to expand our planning time horizon in the 12-36 month range, partnering with Line Management, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to build on S&OP and move towards Integrated Business Planning Cross-Functional Leadership • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, delivering insights that influence company-wide decisions. • Drive alignment between revenue enablement, operational planning, and customer demand. • Champion data-driven decision-making across all functions, translating analytics into actionable strategies. POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level. • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in Excel, Tableau, SAP, ERP systems, and forecasting tools. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. • Results-oriented leader who can balance revenue growth with operational efficiency. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA preferred. • APICS, CPIM, or IBF certifications strongly preferred.
