Now Hiring for the planting season (starting March) through harvest (July-Sept).? Whatcom County, WA? Monday Friday | Daylight hours (approx. 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM)? $20.13 hour Position Overview The Field Lead supports daily kale field operations by coordinating field assignments, transporting essential equipment, and ensuring tasks are completed according to direction from the site manager. This role is not a people-management position but serves as a point of coordination for daily workflow and logistics in the field. This position is ideal for someone with agricultural or field experience who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently. Key Responsibilities *Receive daily field assignments and task priorities from the manager *Ensure assigned field tasks are completed accurately and efficiently *Transport and position a trailer with a porta-potty between field sites as needed *Coordinate daily field logistics to support productivity and compliance *Serve as a point of contact for field-related questions or issues *Monitor work progress and report completion status or concerns to management *Model safe work practices and professionalism in the field Physical & Environmental Requirements *Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions *Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods *Comfortable towing and maneuvering a trailer between field locations *Ability to work independently and stay task-focused throughout the day Requirements *Must be authorized to work in the U.S. *Must be 18 years or older *Valid driver s license and reliable vehicle capable of towing a trailer *Strong reliability, organization, and time-management skills *Previous agricultural or field experience strongly preferred *Self-starter with the ability to manage daily responsibilities with minimal oversight
