LabCorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. In this role, you will handle specialized processing of complex accounts receivable issues, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of insurance claims. You’ll work closely with physicians, insurance companies, and/or patients to gather necessary information and determine the next steps for denied claims. Key Responsibilities Review and process denied insurance claims following standard operating procedures. Research insurance requirements and analyze system records/databases to resolve claim issues. Contact physicians, insurance companies, and patients for additional information to process claims. Maintain accurate logs and records while answering inquiries via phone and email. Build effective working relationships with internal and external team members. Train employees on billing processes and use of computerized databases. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in healthcare billing required. Associate Degree holders: minimum of 2 years of healthcare billing experience. Skills: Working knowledge of LabCorp’s billing systems strongly preferred. Proficiency with numbers and research. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with computerized databases and billing systems.
