CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT REP – PATIENT BILLING (Remote) Labcorp is seeking a Patient Billing Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 11am to 8pm (EST), 10am to 7pm (CST), 9am to 6pm (MST) and 8am to 5pm (PST). 2nd shift differential applicable for applicants that reside in EST. Training hours: 9am to 6pm EST RESPONSIBILITIES Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office and/or private insurance carriers. Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances. Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone Maintain performance goals Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent One year of work experience PREFERRED SKILLS Call center work experience Medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits (EOB) Patient billing KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and focused Perform successfully in a team environment Excellent organizational skills Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency Excellent communication skills Energetic, passionate customer service Seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues Application Window closes: 3/2/2025 Pay Range: $17.75- $21.00 an hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
