Full Description

Major Responsibilities • Assist project manager with managing simultaneous projects • Reviewing and quality checking fiber (FTTH and FTTB) design drawings; minor drawing revisions • Making fiber design revisions in GIS software • Assist with research, compilation, analysis, and reporting of geographic information from various government and private data sources Qualifications Required • 2-3+ years’ experience in GIS mapping • Experience with FTTH and FTTB design • Strong knowledge of ESRI software (ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online) • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc. • Willingness and ability to learn new software programs for project needs • Excellent communication skills - customer service and team oriented • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail – ability to review own work for accuracy and completion • Strong organizational abilities to work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet strict deadlines • Highly responsible, resourceful, and self-motivated Qualifications Preferred • Experience with utility design, engineering, communications, power distribution, and gas • Demonstrated track record of process improvements using new techniques, technology, or concepts.
