Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations within our gym environment. This position involves engaging with customers, managing transactions, and maintaining a professional environment to enhance the shopping experience. The Operations Associate will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of the gym. Duties • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and addressing inquiries. • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. • Maintain knowledge of store products to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. • Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. • Calling existing members to clear up balance or renew membership contracts. • Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized welcoming gym environment. • Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. • Support retail sales initiatives by promoting current promotions and offers. • engaging and entertaining children while maintaining a safe and fun environment. Requirements • Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory counts. • Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. • Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. • Experience in cash handling practices is a plus. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Willingness to learn about new products and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
