Job Description • Lead and manage all purchasing activities for both manufacturing locations, ensuring material availability aligns with production and customer schedules. • Develop and implement vendor performance metrics, driving accountability for on-time delivery, quality, and pricing. • Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and process improvements. • Optimize inventory levels in coordination with production planning and inventory control to minimize delays and excess stock. • Build, document, and continuously improve purchasing processes and policies, aligned with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles. • Lead the purchasing team – coaching, mentoring, and holding them accountable for results. • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Production, Quality, Accounting, Field Service) to resolve supply chain issues. • Work closely with ERP and MRP systems to execute purchasing plans; assist with future ERP conversion activities. • Monitor market trends and proactively identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain. • Support management reporting with data-driven insights on vendor performance, material costs, and lead times. Qualifications • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing-based setting • Ability to manage all purchasing activities for metals, raw materials, and industrial components, including piping and fittings, fasteners, hydraulics, motors, pumps, and related equipment • Ability to oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring material availability, cost control, and alignment with production schedules • Ability to manage day-to-day procurement operations, issuing POs, tracking deliveries, and resolving supply chain issues to maintain production flow • Ability to lead cost reduction, vendor performance improvement, and strategic sourcing initiatives • Strong understanding and experience working within ERP/MRP systems • Ability to develop, negotiate, and maintain supplier partnerships focused on cost optimization, reliability, and continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
