Manage full-cycle recruiting for scientific and life science roles, partner with hiring managers, maintain ATS, ensure compliance, and deliver recruiting metrics.
3-5+ years recruiting experience, bachelor's degree, proactive communication, strategic talent advising, and preferably pharma or healthcare recruitment experience with ATS knowledge.
This position is looking for a SR recruiter who has worked in Life Science, Pharma, Medical Device or Scientific. Recruiting High level cands like Priniciple Scientists, and also other related scientific jobs like Chemists, Scientists, Medical labs cands working with small and large molecules, HPLc etc Someone local in Chicago area preferred in case of a meeting or 2 may be needed to go onsite otherwise can be remote but does prefer someone who has work in Pharma ,R&D or other Life Science vetting those scientific cands for FT positions. Corp setting working for large companies SR Recruiter/Scientific/Research/Lab/Workday or Smartrecruiter BA Degree 31325 50.00 an hour w2 cotract + 5 PTO days 6 months+ Start Date: Early November for sure, welcome to start in October once cleared to do so Remote: 100% available; helpful to have them near North Chicago for in person presence for meetings etc, otherwise fine to be remote. Will look at full remote if the cand has recruiting for Scientific candidates Scientific terminology, hiring a lot of scientists, principal research, and lab scientist - not an in-depth knowledge, but a baseline of knowledge of terms, definitions will really help in ramping up candidate to this role. Top 3 – 5 Skills Needed for each role 1. Strong proactive communication- with candidates, hiring leaders and human resources 2. Attention to detail- managing multiple candidates, job descriptions, and compliance requirements with accuracy 3. Strategic talent advisor- able to make recommendations and anticipate future needs Responsibilities • Recruitment will be focused on supporting the sub-function within Operations, PDS&T (Product Development, Science and Technology) • Responsible for attracting top talent and developing a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings. • Additional job duties include pre-screening candidates, project management, partnering with team members to develop sourcing strategies and providing talent for open positions. • Demonstrate ability to proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities. • Core responsibility is to manage open job requisitions, update and manage Taleo ATS, achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments. Will also compile and communicate the knowledge base, industry overviews, and market trends, data and analytics to team members and business leaders. • Will prepare and approve offer packages, providing equity & market competitiveness data research. • Ensure compliance to state/federal employment laws and policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics. • Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing related activities and issues. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required. • 3-5+ years recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required. • Must project a strong business presence and can instill confidence in clients and to deliver results. • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required. • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience strongly preferred. • Experience in managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters and/or Workday ATS preferred.
