About the Role KULE is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Technical Designer to support our rapidly growing business. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, this role partners with Design, Product Development, and Production to ensure flawless execution of each collection. The ideal candidate has experience across wovens and knits, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a keen eye for fit, detail, and quality. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Technical Support Create and manage proto and SMS tech packs, ensuring accurate specs, materials, trims, and finishing details. Conduct fittings, document fit comments, and update technical packages with revisions to ensure accurate execution. Track and receive all seasonal development packages from overseas, alerting the team to delivery status. Assist with sending out materials for developments (fabric, trims, reference samples) and prepare packing slips. QC all development samples for proto and SMS, monitoring quality standards throughout the production process. Partner with patternmakers, factories, and mills to troubleshoot fit and construction challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration Support Design, Tech, and Production teams in all areas of the department. Attend design fittings (pre- and post-fittings) and facilitate clear communication of style updates. Maintain seasonal trackers daily, ensuring alignment with development and production timelines. Communicate daily with vendors to confirm sample timing, troubleshoot issues, and improve factory processes. Process & Calendar Management Set up new styles in WIP charts, maintaining updated information including style numbers, sketches, descriptions, and BOMs. Monitor development and production calendars, including shipment of PPS, ECOM & PR samples, and TOP samples. Ensure development milestones are met, from concept through final production. Qualifications 3–6 years of relevant experience in technical design and/or product development. Wovens, Cut + Sew and Knits experience. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets. Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit across multiple categories. Clear communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
