It's more than a job As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. In this role, you will be the primarysystem supportbetween IT, regionaloperations management, and shop floor users as it relates to order, SKU, location management,system troubleshooting/support, and issue escalation ofwarehouse-relatedsystem issues. As a3PLprovider, we will count on yourinformation systemsknowledge to help drive system efficiency for our warehouse. How you create impact • Serve as the primary support for local site system operational issues • Performbasic troubleshootingof order andstock managementissues • Collaborate with users to implement preventative actions based on your findings • Assist with ticket creation, issue escalation, and follow-up • Maintain warehouse (location) and customer (article) data • Identify process changes that may impactsystem documentation • Provide local user training as needed • Troubleshoothardware issues, including printers,RFguns, and network equipment • Supportrelease managementactivities by testing new functionality, verifying document changes, and more • Assist local users with coordinating reporting requirements • Participate in training sessions led by the IT team to provide first-level support What we would like you to bring • A degree in Computer Science,Information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 1+ years of technical experience working with3PLproducts includingwarehouse management systems,transportation managementsystems, andorder managementsystems • 1+ years of operations experience working in warehousing or a supply chain environment • 1+ years of experience working withBlue Yonder,Red Prairie, orJDAis preferred What's in it for you Kuehne+Nagel participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. Employers can only use E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
