Who We Are Kubera Health is on a mission to modernize how healthcare organizations manage financial operations – enabling them to operate more efficiently and focus on what truly matters: patient care. We unify contract terms, policies, financial and clinical data sources into a connected system that drives transparency, automation, and insight across the entire payment lifecycle. The Problem: Healthcare organizations lose millions every year to payment inaccuracies, fragmented contract data, and administrative inefficiencies. Providers and payors struggle to reconcile complex managed care contracts and uncover reimbursement leakage across massive claims volumes. This role is equal parts hands-on product building and strategy. You’ll help define the long-term vision while also scoping features, writing thorough requirements, working through data and workflow complexity, and collaborating closely with engineering to bring solutions to life. You’ll operate at the center of claims analytics, contract modeling, payment accuracy, and AI agents that automate key managed care and revenue cycle workflows. What You'll Do Strategic Product Partnership Partner with the CEO and Engineering Lead on product direction, prioritization, and long-term roadmap shaping. Identify opportunities across claims analytics, contract modeling, and automation based on customer value and feasibility. Bring structured thinking and clarity to ambiguous, complex operational workflows. Feature Scoping, Planning & Execution Define features end-to-end, including problem statements, scope, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases. Manage and prioritize new features based on customer impact and engineering capacity. Turn high-level ideas into structured work plans and clear, step-by-step specifications. Maintain a clean, actionable backlog. Claims Analytics, Accuracy & Contract Performance Work closely on claims analytics workflows to improve accuracy, uncover underpayments, and support contract modeling. Translate complex reimbursement rules, contract terms, and financial logic into structured product requirements. Shape features that improve contract negotiation insights and recovery performance. Turning Unstructured Data Into Structured Workflows Help define workflows that turn messy PDFs, emails, and unstructured documents into structured, validated data models. Work with engineering and data teams to ensure financial and contract logic is represented accurately. AI Agents & Automation Define and validate AI agent workflows for managed care operations and revenue cycle recovery. Prototype early versions using prompt design or low-code tools to test assumptions before engineering builds. Identify opportunities for automation within claims, contracts, and financial review. Cross-Functional Leadership Communicate clearly across engineering, data teams, customer stakeholders, and leadership. Write crisp specifications and documentation that eliminate ambiguity. Ensure features launch with quality, adoption, and measurable value. Who You Are You are a thoughtful, structured builder, with at least 3 years of product management experience, who enjoys solving complex operational and data problems. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you are curious, analytical, and comfortable digging into technical details when needed. You are: Comfortable with technical conversations: You can follow discussions about data flows, contract logic, workflows, and system constraints. Code literate: You can read simple code, understand schemas, and navigate technical details enough to make informed product decisions. Analytical: You’ve worked with data-heavy products, analytics workflows, or systems where correctness and logic matter. Customer-focused: You care deeply about solving operational pain points and driving real ROI. A clear communicator: You write crisp specifications, decisions, and documentation that engineering and business rely on. Organized and detail-oriented: You anticipate edge cases, dependencies, and downstream impacts. Startup-ready: You operate with ownership, velocity, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Why This Role is Special Strategic seat at the table: Work directly with the CEO and Engineering Leader to shape the product from day one. Foundational impact: Your work will materially improve payment accuracy, contract performance, and financial outcomes for large healthcare organizations.
