Assist team members in providing tax due diligence services for clients acquiring businesses and lead the preparation of deal reports and client presentations. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and/or taxation is required, along with 2-3 years of experience in tax or transaction advisory roles. Candidates should possess strong project management skills and be capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities: Assist team members in providing tax due diligence services for clients acquiring businesses, assessing the target’s tax profile in the context of the client’s overall investment strategy. Aggregate, review, and analyze the target company’s tax returns, filings, and supporting documentation to evaluate historical compliance, sustainability of tax attributes, and calculating exposure. Research tax specific issues to evaluate potential risk of liability. Lead meetings with senior team members including managers, directors and partners to present findings and prepare team for target and client discussions. Lead the preparation of deal reports and client presentations that highlight key tax findings, risks, and structuring considerations. Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity across federal, state, local, and international tax diligence matters, including all tax types, income, franchise, gross receipts, payroll, sales and use and property. Help supervise, train, and develop other tax associates and interns, contributing to the growth of the transaction advisory tax team Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting and/or taxation, or advanced degree (e.g., law degree) and related work experience. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience required, preferably within tax, transaction advisory, or other tax-related roles CPA, JD or LLM certification or working towards obtaining (preferred) Strong project management skills and highly analytical Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven, team environment (while effectively managing unexpected issues and/or questions in a professional manner Ability to adapt communication style to successfully convey messaging & objectives to all levels of management, clients, colleagues, etc. We are an equal opportunity employer.
