Description for Candidates Responsible for accelerating business growth through customer-first integrated media strategies and tactical execution across Enterprise and lines of business. Steward paid media investments through an optimal mix that delivers maximum value and drives immediate and long-term sales. Lead oversight of annual, quarterly and ad-hoc media planning for flawless execution and strategic alignment across all lines of business media activations. Collaborate and consult across cross-functional teams to ensure paid media plans are aligned to business goals and are fully integrated with non-paid media communication channels. Responsibilities for Candidates • Lead oversight of media strategy development, execution and reporting across the Enterprise to ensure alignment to Kroger marketing strategy, business goals and customers • Responsible for media mix modeling and optimization across all paid media channels, in partnership with the agency, to determine ad spending and drive the greatest return on investment for divisional, Enterprise and lines of business budgets • Steward the paid media investments through the budget planning and forecast process by adhering to financial processes by line of business, division and enterprise on a period, quarterly and annual basis with leadership and key stakeholders • Provide guidance and oversight of division-specific nuances and media activations by agency • Integrate media communication and coordination across teams to drive efficiencies • Provide and socialize ongoing reporting across teams and stakeholders • Demonstrate strategic agility, pivoting quickly to meet business needs • Make proactive decisions when there is not a record of success or historical precedence • Demonstrate critical and adaptive thinking, keeping the customer at the center of all media strategies • Develop media presentations to relevant stakeholders, leadership, teams, etc. • Maximize relationships with key contacts at agency of record, media suppliers and other industry contacts to leverage resources/expertise • Drive change management to grow the company’s knowledge of advertising, marketing and media, driving ongoing media innovation • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications for Candidates Minimum • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related area • 5+ years of media strategy, integrated media planning or cross-channel campaign management (agency or brand side) • Deep understanding of video, audio, programmatic, social, search and traditional media channels • Experience with media mix modeling and analytics tools • Experience planning and forecasting large media budgets with accuracy and financial acumen • Familiarity with ad tech • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations • Skilled at building clear, compelling decks and presenting to leadership • Skilled at making complex ideas simple and actionable to a variety of audiences • Comfortable influencing others without direct authority • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced, • dynamic, collaborative environment • Results oriented, comfort with change and complexity, and rapid learner Desired • 4+ years of marketing analytics and/or marketing mix experience • 4+ years of programmatic and digital marketing experience • Any CPG or Retail experience
