We specialize in handling large paper rolls and similar materials that require skilled operation of roll clamp forklifts to ensure safe and efficient movement of inventory. Job Summary: The Roll Clamp Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift equipped with a roll clamp attachment to move, load, and unload large rolls or cylindrical materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires careful handling to prevent product damage, strict attention to safety procedures, and coordination with warehouse and shipping teams. Key Responsibilities: • Operate a roll clamp forklift to move, load, and unload rolls of paper, film, or other cylindrical materials. • Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during lifting, rotating, or stacking. • Load and unload trailers, storage racks, and production lines as directed. • Perform pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. • Ensure accuracy in all material movements and documentation. • Follow warehouse layout plans to maintain organized storage areas. • Communicate effectively with shipping, receiving, and production departments. • Adhere to all company safety and operational policies. • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a roll clamp forklift (required). • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one prior to start. • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling. • Ability to read and follow work orders, load sheets, and safety guidelines. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 1st and 2nd shift available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
