Kova Remodel and Design is looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team in the Treasure Valley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build a long-term career and skillset in the trades. Carpentry is a craft fewer people enter today, making it a rapidly disappearing thus incredibly valuable skill. The ability to work with wood—one of humanity’s oldest and most essential materials—remains vital in an exploding construction and housing market across the Treasure Valley. Learning this trade now sets you up for a stable, in-demand future. Who is Kova Remodel and Design? A locally and family owned residential remodeling company. We specialize in bathroom and kitchen renovations, home additions and custom design. What You’ll Do: • Assist experienced carpenters with framing, installation, and finish work • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively • Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and efficiency • Learn industry standards and best practices • Support jobsite organization and cleanup What We’re Looking For: • Comfort with physical work, including lifting heavy and working on your feet • Strong hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude • Attention to detail and willingness to learn • Interest in building a career in carpentry or the skilled trades • “Can - do” attitude without having to be constantly monitored and redirected (after proper training, of course) • All power tools and advanced items are provided. We request you come with your own set of tool bags with perhaps a hammer + gloves. • Commitment to safety • Extensive experience is not required, but familiarity with construction and physical work is highly desired Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm (May vary slightly depending on job circumstances) Pay: $21-30 per hour, depending on experience Location: Job sites vary but are frequently in Nampa, Meridian, Star, Eagle and Kuna.
