Experience as a production line mechanic with skills in welding, PLCs, motors, conveyors, SAP proficiency, and supervisory capabilities.
Basic Purpose We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations at our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, enforcing safety and food safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and overall plant efficiency. Looking for an individual who is willing to build out our PM software and implement throughout the maintenance team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee staff • Distribution and coordination of work orders • Develop an inventory program for parts & supplies • Maintain and source parts for inventory • Develop, implement and monitor preventative maintenance program • Fill out all paperwork required by QA and maintain copies for department • Ability to provide overall repair support Supervisory Responsibilities • Work closely with GM and Management team to achieve optimal conditions for all locations • Oversee scheduling for all mechanics. • Review and submit weekly payroll on time every week • Keep OT to a minimum Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • SAP preferred but will train • Excellent computer aptitude to include MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Ability and expertise in repairing production equipment, preferably bakery related equipment such as PLC’s, conveyors and motors • Welding • General building maintenance and repair • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Education & Experience • Production line mechanic • Welding • PLS, Motors and Conveyor • General Maintenance • Computer literate • SAP Work Environment Kontos offers a professional yet friendly environment devoid of the usual trapping of most “corporate” environments.
