The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. Maintain communication with the Command Center to align route assignments, schedules, and operational priorities. Act as the on-site escalation point for safety or operational issues, coordinating resolutions with Engineering and Ops leadership. Monitor and coach driver performance to uphold Kodiak’s safety-first culture and professional standards. Track and report shift-level metrics including uptime, readiness, mission completion, and safety compliance. Conduct ride-alongs, safety audits, and performance check-ins to reinforce consistent driver execution. Identify training gaps or procedural inefficiencies and collaborate with management to drive improvement. Foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement among the Safety Driver team. Participate in staffing processes including interviewing, extending offers, and exit discussions. Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years in AV testing, fleet operations, or related automotive environments.
