Summary The Commercial Support Specialist will facilitate effective processing of sales transactions through developing a strong working knowledge of commercial processes, systems, and reporting. The Commercial Support Specialist works in a fast-paced environment and builds relationships and effective communication channels between sales, engineering, operations, and accounting functions. In this role, you will support a team of account managers, helping to identify and resolve issues, and ensure sales transactions move effectively throughout their lifecycle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work directly with the Regional Sales VP’s and Account Managers to support sales operations Assist account managers in proper use of the CRM Perform all aspects of processing sales transactions across Kodiak’s Contract Services product lines; contracts, renewals, contract rate adjustments, releases, unit moves, change of operators, and others. Assist RVPs in monitoring reports and dashboards to ensure timely starts and stops of forecasted revenues Assist account managers when setting up new accounts Document management and assist customers and account managers with required documents Coordinate with Fleet, Make Ready Shops, and Logistics to assist account managers with unit moves Assist sales leadership with monthly reporting of commercial activities Education & Certifications High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred Work Experience 2+ years administrative experience, customer service, order management, or supply chain Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Highly self-motivated and directed. Attention to detail. Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment. Physical Demands Predominantly operates in an office environment. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.
