About the Role We're looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to help design and build secure, scalable, and performant systems that power our global applications and APIs. If you already have experience with legal compliance, trust and safety, or law enforcement response teams, that's great! If not, you should be ready to drink from the firehose. What You'll Do Design and Scale Infrastructure: Architect and automate secure, highly available systems on AWS using Terraform and modern DevOps practices. Ensure Security & Compliance: Embed security and auditability into everything we build, meeting the highest standards for data protection and regulatory compliance. Drive Reliability & Performance: Improve observability, incident response, and system performance so our platform remains fast, resilient, and cost-efficient at global scale. Collaborate & Enable: Partner with product and security teams to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions, while mentoring engineers on best practices. Evolve the Platform: Evaluate and introduce technologies that advance our infrastructure, from Nitro Enclaves to next-gen security and monitoring tools. You Might Be a Fit If You... 4+ years of experience in infrastructure development and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using AWS and Terraform. 2+ years of software development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Golang, or Bash. 1+ years of experience building and maintaining DevOps pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions. 1+ years of hands-on experience with observability and data tools such as Datadog, Databricks, and Amazon CloudWatch. Solid understanding of security fundamentals and best practices, including Least Privilege and Zero Trust principles.
