Description We’re looking for a creative, social-media-savvy marketer to help grow our presences on TikTok and Instagram by running accounts that already has over 400k followers. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager and CMO to strategise, create content and bring your ideas to life. This role is ideal for US-based recent grads (within 2-3 years) who are passionate about education, a previous AP student, and are excited to shape how students discover and use Knowt. (No visa sponsorship available.) What will I be doing? Create concepts and execute videos for Knowt AP brand channels on Tiktok, Reels, and Shorts Develop social content, including video series end-to-end: concept, treatments, scripting, shoots, editing, and post. Ideate on real-time trending topic opportunities that connect to AP students Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other teams in Knowt to promote projects, categories, community members, and more relevant to AP students Leverage AI tools (LLMs, agents, and emerging applications) to enhance community content, streamline processes, and ensure programs scale effectively while staying safe, relevant, and on-brand. Engage authentically with our community via comments, DMs, and mentions Analyze performance metrics and iterate on content strategyAre You the Right Fit? Is this role for me? You’ll thrive in this role if you: Lived the AP life — you were an AP student and completed at least three AP courses, so you genuinely understand the pressure, humor, and mindset of high-achieving high schoolers. Live for short-form content and instinctively know what works on TikTok & Instagram. Think independently and aren’t afraid to experiment, test, and ship ideas without needing step-by-step direction. Have out-of-the-box ideas that push boundaries and probably wouldn’t get approved at more traditional companies. Learn fast, move quickly, and take initiative with minimal oversight. Requirements US-based (no visa sponsorship) 1-2 years experience in social media marketing Hands-on video production skills (editing, scripting, social formats).
