Confidential Search – Director of Operations / Plant Manager – Manufacturing Overview: We're partnering with established manufacturing companies—across automotive, food, chemical, and general industrial sectors—seeking experienced operations leaders. If you're a Plant Manager, Director of Operations, or senior manufacturing leader exploring what's next, we'd like to connect. What Our Clients Typically Look For: Full P&L responsibility for plant or multi-site operations Leadership of production, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement Proven results in safety, cost, delivery, and quality performance Experience managing teams of 50–500+ employees Track record of operational turnarounds, lean implementation, or capacity expansion Ability to partner with senior leadership and translate strategy into execution Common Backgrounds: Plant Manager or General Manager with 5–15+ years in manufacturing Director or Sr. Director of Operations (single or multi-site) Production or Manufacturing Manager ready for the next step Industries: automotive, food & beverage, chemical, plastics, metals, packaging, consumer products, industrial OEM Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience Demonstrated results in safety, productivity, and cost improvement Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Strong leadership presence and ability to build high-performing teams Compensation: Opportunities typically range from $120K–$200K+ depending on scope, location, and experience. Location: Opportunities across the U.S.—Midwest, Southeast, and other manufacturing regions. Some roles offer relocation assistance.
