General Description The Executive Assistant & Company Culture Manager provides high-level support to the General Manager while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture across the organization. This role ensures the GM's office operates smoothly, while also championing staff engagement, employee recognition, and organizational values. The ideal candidate is highly organized, and has a passion for building strong, connected teams. Key Responsibilities Executive Support • Manage the GM's calendar, travel, correspondence, and daily priorities. • Coordinate Board of Directors and leadership team meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes. • Prepare presentations, briefing documents, and reports for internal and external meetings. • Serve as a trusted liaison, handling confidential information with discretion. • Be proactive to support the General Manager. Company Culture & Engagement • Collaborate with leadership to develop and sustain a healthy, inclusive, and mission-driven culture. • Organize staff events, retreats, trainings, and recognition programs that promote employee engagement and morale. • Partner with HR to support, but not execute, key procedures (orientation, on-boarding, performance reviews, exits), all to ensure employees feel welcomed, heard and connected to KNKX's mission. • Model and teach KNKX's values, cultural agreements and communication systems across the organization. • Chair the staff Inclusion and Equity committee; present insights, progress, and identify best practices to all for strengthening organizational culture across departments. Communication & Liaison • Serve as a communication bridge between the GM and staff, ensuring alignment and transparency. • Represent the GM on internal committees or task forces as needed. • Strengthen internal communications to foster a sense of community and mission alignment. • Gather and analyze employee feedback to inform initiatives that improve communication, collaboration, special projects and employee satisfaction to support internal communications in partnership with leadership. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience. • 2-4 years of experience in executive support, employee engagement, project management, or HR coordination. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Demonstrated ability to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace. • Experience in nonprofit, media, or mission-driven organizations preferred. • Comfort with collecting, organizing, and presenting data (e.g., demographics, employee engagement surveys, or source audits) to support organizational decision-making. • Preferred experience in project management and a project management certification.
