The Client Service Liaison serves as the primary point of contact between the billing department and assigned clients. This role ensures that each assigned client has the necessary support to maintain business functions to include timely / accurate management reports, operational questions answered, knowledge of payer disruptions, issues or potential for rate adjustments, attendance of any requested client meetings and consistent communication to ensure satisfaction with the services performed by Knack RCM / Anesthesia. The Client Service Liaison will also serve to perform special projects targeted at AR improvement, RCM process flow and client education of compliance related concerns. Key Responsibilities • Act as the main contact for designated medical billing clients, managing all communication related to billing, payments, and account status. • Monitor claim submissions, denials, rejections, and payment trends to proactively identify and resolve issues. • Monitor client accounts receivable, source document receipt to ensure consistent performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. • Prepare and deliver regular reports to clients, including accounts receivable aging, denial trends, and collection summaries. Reports shall include all monthly reports, RCM invoices and any specialty reports requested by the client and/or Knack RCM management. • Respond promptly to client inquiries about specific patient accounts, billing processes, or payer updates. • Facilitate onboarding of new clients, including workflow setup, data transfer, and process orientation. • Ensure all client requests are documented, tracked, and resolved within agreed service levels. • Maintain knowledge of insurance and payer regulations, coding updates, and reimbursement changes. • Participate in internal quality assurance and compliance reviews to ensure billing accuracy and adherence to HIPAA and company policies. • Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues to management with recommended solutions. • Support revenue cycle improvement initiatives and contribute to client retention and satisfaction goals. Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred. • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in medical billing, client relations, or revenue cycle management. • Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, reporting tools and insurance billing processes. • Experience with EHR and billing software.
