Requires 1-3 years in product development or sourcing with experience in accessories and supplier management, which is not present in your resume.
About Us KITSCH is proud to be recognized as a self-financed, female-owned global accessory brand built on positivity and pure hard work. Established in 2010, with a business plan no longer than a paragraph, Kitsch has grown from door-to-door sales to selling products in over 27 countries across 20,000 retail locations worldwide. KITSCH is committed to creating high-quality products that are effortless, elevated, and easy to use. From fashionable shower caps to our viral towel scrunchies, we aim to evolve your everyday essentials. We believe that everyone should feel confident when purchasing our products, no matter your hair type, style, or budget. About the Role As the Assistant Product Developer, Accessories, you will own the development of Kitsch accessories from the spark of an idea to the final approved product. In this role, you won’t just manage a process; you’ll actively shape our product roadmap by ensuring every SKU is trend-driven, backed by data, and held to the highest quality standards — all at the speed of retail. Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for accessories and a talent for managing samples and timelines? If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love bringing consumer-loved products to market through seamless cross-functional communication, this position is for you! What will be your responsibilities? Drive accessory development cycles from concept through TOP approval, supporting multiple SKUs simultaneously across hair accessories, sleep, cleanse, consumable accessories, soft and hard goods. Maintain sample timelines at 90 days or less by communicating clearly with suppliers and internal partners. Keep Asana fully up-to-date; log all sample stages, feedback, and supplier communication within 24 hours. Gather data for every product pitch — trend reports, sales insights, keyword research, or competitive analysis. No gut decisions. Write precise supplier briefs and revision notes to reduce rounds and speed up approvals. Align cross-functional teams (marketing, retail, design) ahead of NPD meetings. No surprises. Enforce Kitsch’s quality standards; never approve a product that doesn’t meet expectations. Contribute to weekly team meetings, presenting new ideas and updates with clarity and ownership. What are we looking for in you? 1–3 years of experience in product development or sourcing, preferably in accessories, beauty, or consumer goods. Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-obsessed. Experience working with overseas suppliers and navigating sample rounds. Comfortable using Asana (or similar project management tools). Excited to work onsite in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. How We Work at Kitsch Proactive Problem Solving: If something’s off, you take action — fast. Willingness to Sweep the Floors: No task is too small if it moves the product forward. Pride in Our Work: We don’t ship products we wouldn’t buy ourselves. About the Offer Type of Contract: Full-Time Modality: Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote. Competitive Pay: Depending on your experience. A dynamic team An open mind for new ideas Growth… growth and some more growth! Do you want to be part of our team? We look forward to your application! *KITSCH LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
