Job Description We are seeking a Senior Manager, ATC Onboarding to drive operational execution of the Kite site authorization process, serving as the primary orchestrator across cross-functional workstreams to ensure treatment centers are launched efficiently, compliantly, and with high-quality customer experience. This high-impact role reports into the Director, ATC Onboarding, who owns onboarding strategy and operational leadership, ensuring consistent, high‑quality execution through strong planning, governance, tools, reporting, and continuous improvement. The role works closely with the Account Directors (ADs) accountable for site expansion, provides ADs with the right level of support depending on site or network needs, and delivers site onboarding execution efficiently at scale by providing clear standards, structure, and visibility cross-functionally and across site archetypes. The Senior Manager, ATC Onboarding will help ensure site onboarding is predictable, scalable, and execution‑ready, enabling faster readiness, stronger cross‑functional alignment, and continuous improvement as the organization grows. Responsibilities Drive PMO & Program Management Excellence Execute the process framework for site onboarding and ensure execution discipline across roles with onboarding responsibilities Manage integrated onboarding timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks Orchestrate onboarding workstreams cross functionally (Quality, Medical, Patient Support, Commercial), ensuring clarity of roles, timelines, and deliverables Proactively identify issues and drive resolution through appropriate escalation pathways Ensure onboarding execution aligns with operational excellence, compliance, and readiness expectations Maintain onboarding playbooks, templates, and standard operating rhythms Organize internal status meetings, aligning site level support teams with network level hub members, streamlining communication across forums Manage Onboarding Tools, Platforms & Technology Infrastructure Maintain accuracy and continuous improvement of onboarding project management tools and platforms maintenance (e.g., Smartsheet or equivalent) Standardize tracking, documentation, and reporting artifacts Ensure data quality, adoption, and consistency across onboarding program Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve visibility through tooling enhancements Provide Leadership Reporting & Visibility Help develop and maintain program‑level dashboards and reporting across onboarding timelines, risks, and outcomes Aggregate execution data into clear, actionable insights for leadership Provide regular onboarding performance updates to the Director, ATC Onboarding and key stakeholders Highlight trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities supported by data Lead Continuous Improvement Conduct structured post‑activation check‑ins to evaluate onboarding effectiveness and inform continuous improvement initiatives Synthesize insights, themes, and opportunities; share findings with internal teams and leadership to inform continuous improvement Partner with Account Directors and the Director, ATC Onboarding, to ensure feedback is translated into action where appropriate Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback across sites and customer archetypes Identify root causes of recurring execution challenges and partner with cross‑functional teams on improvements Embed learnings back into onboarding processes, tools, and PM standards Basic Qualifications Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in project management, PMO leadership, operations, or large‑scale cross‑functional execution Demonstrated success applying formal project management practices in complex, regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences, or similar) Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and drive execution across cross functional teams without direct authority PMO or program leadership experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives Experience scaling standardized execution models across teams Strong proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet or equivalent) Continuous improvement mindset with comfort using data to drive change Cell Therapy, specialty pharmaceutical, or site of care experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple onboarding engagements simultaneously Customer centric mindset with strong facilitation skills Ability to operate effectively in fast paced, ambiguous environments Travel Requirements Some travel (up to ~25%) may be required The salary range for this position is: Bay Area: $169,320.00 - $219,120.00. Other US Locations: $153,935.00 - $199,210.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
