What You’ll Do Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can bring structure, efficiency, and impact to recruiting operations? As a Firmwide Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Kirkland & Ellis, you will operationally support recruiting efforts across the Firm, ensuring seamless processes that align with our business goals. Working within the Firmwide Talent Acquisition Strategy & Logistics team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening how we attract and onboard top legal talent. This hybrid role follows the Firm’s model, with in-person presence required Tuesday through Thursday (except pre-approved arrangements). • Recruiting Operations – Execute daily operational tasks that drive lateral attorney recruiting and ensure alignment with firmwide objectives. • Cross-Office & Team Collaboration – Partner with other Kirkland offices and departments to share best practices and identify efficiencies and support collective recruiting goals. • Communication & Knowledge Management – Draft and distribute newsletters, meeting notes, and updates while maintaining accurate and accessible team resources. • Process Oversight – Monitor recruiting approval workflows to ensure consistency and quality control; oversee execution of search firm contracts and process placement invoices promptly. • Reporting & Analytics – Provide reports, data, and metrics to support leadership decision-making. Strategic & Special Projects – Contribute to initiatives such as group hires, office openings and other firmwide projects, as well as provide ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition team. What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s degree required & 2 + years’ experience in recruiting preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging across different audiences. • Critical thinking skills and resourcefulness to navigate challenges effectively. • A team player who builds rapport across departments, while also capable of driving work independently. • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Compensation The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago.
