In this energetic role, you will support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based systems across multiple platforms. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on our digital operations. • Assist in managing cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and Rackspace, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Support the deployment and configuration of virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix to optimize resource utilization. • Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain web services, APIs, microservices, and SaaS applications following best practices in DevOps and SDLC methodologies. • Monitor system performance using tools like Jenkins, PowerShell, Bash scripting, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform to identify issues proactively and execute troubleshooting procedures. • Contribute to system hardening efforts by applying security patches, managing VPNs, implementing system updates, and ensuring compliance with security standards. • Assist in automating routine tasks through scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Shell Scripting, T-SQL, or PowerShell to improve operational efficiency. • Support the integration of cloud services with on-premises IT infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers while maintaining documentation for all configurations. • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services (RESTful API), and cloud development frameworks. • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration tools. • Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and Rackspace Cloud. • Knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), and related cloud architecture principles. • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef; CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git. • Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database Management System (DBMS), Microsoft SQL Server; understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus. • Ability to implement system hardening techniques for operating systems including Linux and Windows environments; knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. • Understanding of network security concepts including VPNs and RESTful API integrations; experience with internet of things (IoT) applications is advantageous. • Solid foundation in computer science principles related to software development lifecycle (SDLC), microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
