Kinghaven Counseling Group offers medical insurance, dental insurance and a 401K. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as the first point of contact for patients. Greets patients, answers questions, perform the check-in process, answers phones, and performs other administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth functioning of the medical practice. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Greets patients as they arrive for appointments • Answers phones courteously and expediently • Maintains knowledge of the physicians’ specialties and office procedures • Calls no shows 15 mins after the appointment time • Calls patients 5 mins before to confirm appointment for connections • Schedules follow-up appointments according to physician preference • Scans documentation into the EMR system as needed • Collects patient payments for all patients that have out of pocket responsibility • Arranges for hospital admissions • Complete intake • Enters data, including medical history information, as needed • Monitor attendance and lunches • Maintains confidentiality of medical records • Provide patients with support and guidance as needed • Performs other administrative or front desk duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required Experience: One to Five years of fast-paced, customer service experience. Medical office/scheduling combined with EMR experience preferred. Certificates & Licenses: None. Requirements 1. Must be able to work Monday- Saturday 9am-6pm M-F and 8am-3pm Saturday (at least 1 Saturday per month) 2. Stress resistant and able to handle difficult patients 3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment 4. Be responsible and reliable 5. Able to Multitask 6. Must work well under pressure Salary to be commensurate with experience and education.
