About Kindwell Partners Kindwell Partners is a mental health management services organization (MSO) supporting and scaling high-quality therapy group practices across multiple states. We provide centralized operational, marketing, financial, and administrative infrastructure to allow clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care. As we continue expanding, we are building a centralized Revenue Cycle team to support multiple partner practices. This role will directly impact collections performance, cash flow stability, and financial integrity across locations. Position Overview The Behavioral Health Insurance Biller (Revenue Cycle Specialist) will manage the full insurance claim lifecycle across multiple outpatient mental health practices. This is not an entry-level billing role. We are seeking an experienced behavioral health biller who understands insurance payer systems, denial management, authorization workflows, and revenue cycle performance metrics. This role reports directly to leadership and plays a key role in protecting margin and optimizing collections. Core Responsibilities • Submit insurance claims within 48 hours of service completion • Monitor clearinghouse rejections daily • Post ERAs and reconcile payments accurately • Work denied or rejected claims within 72 hours • Track timely filing limits across payers • Manage authorization requirements and expirations • Identify and recover underpayments • Follow up on secondary claims • Monitor patient balances and collections workflow • Run and present weekly A/R aging reports • Track payer trends and denial patterns • Collaborate with intake teams to prevent front-end billing errors • Prepare monthly revenue cycle performance reporting Required Qualifications • 2+ years direct behavioral health or outpatient therapy billing experience • Strong knowledge of CPT codes including: • 90791 • 90834 • 90837 • 90847 • 90853 • Experience working with BCBS, Aetna, UHC, Medicaid • Familiarity with clearinghouses (Office Ally, Availity, Change Healthcare, etc.) • Experience managing insurance denials and appeals • Knowledge of authorization management • Ability to interpret A/R aging reports • Understanding of net collection rate and clean claim rate Preferred Experience • Experience with SimplePractice or similar EHR systems • Multi-location billing experience • Revenue cycle reporting experience • Experience in fast-growing healthcare organizations Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: • Days in A/R under 40 • Clean claim rate above 95% • Net collection rate above 97% • Claims submitted within 48 hours • Reduction in denials and aging claims Compensation & Growth • Competitive base salary ($52K–$60K) • Performance-based bonus (up to $500/month) • Paid time off • Opportunity to grow into Senior Revenue Cycle or Revenue Cycle Manager role as the organization scales Why Join Kindwell Partners?
