The Impact You Will Make The Senior Operational Excellence Professional is responsible for leading and enabling continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. This role partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to embed Lean thinking, develop organizational capability, and deliver sustainable business results. Key Responsibilities • Lead and govern a portfolio of high-impact operational excellence initiatives aligned to business strategy • Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies across operations and support functions • Partner with site, functional, and senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analyses, and problem-solving workshops • Track, validate, and communicate operational and financial benefits of improvement initiatives • Mentor and coach Green Belts, Black Belts, and operational leaders to build CI capability • Support standard work, tiered management systems, and KPI governance • Act as a change agent, reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability Qualifications & Experience • 6+ years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or operations leadership • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies • Proven success delivering sustained, measurable improvements • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions or sites • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred • SITE California residents should review our Notice for California Employees and Applicants before applying.
