Role Overview: As the Mobile Concrete Plant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the mobile concrete plant to ensure efficient production, quality control, and safety compliance. This role is critical in supporting project timelines and maintaining high standards of concrete quality for various construction projects. What You'll Do: - You will manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of the mobile concrete plant to meet production goals. - You will ensure all concrete mixes meet quality and safety standards through rigorous testing and monitoring. - You will coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to align production schedules with project needs. - You will lead and train plant staff, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. - You will maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management review. - You will troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. - You will enforce compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. - You will oversee inventory management of raw materials and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience managing concrete plant operations, preferably in mobile or ready-mix environments. - You bring strong knowledge of concrete mix design, quality control procedures, and testing methods. - You bring proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team. - You bring excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams. - You bring a commitment to safety with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in heavy civil construction or related industries. - Familiarity with computerized plant control systems and production software. - Certifications in concrete technology or plant management. - A valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.
