Role Overview: As the Mobile Concrete Plant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our mobile concrete plant, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and safety compliance. This role is critical in supporting our construction projects by delivering high-quality concrete materials on time and within budget. What You'll Do: - You will manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of the mobile concrete plant to maximize productivity. - You will ensure all concrete mixes meet project specifications and quality standards. - You will coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and meet project timelines. - You will enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with environmental regulations. - You will supervise and train plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. - You will monitor inventory levels of raw materials and order supplies as needed. - You will troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will maintain accurate production and maintenance records. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years experience managing concrete plant operations, preferably in a mobile setting. - Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, production processes, and quality control. - Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and developing teams. - Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations in construction. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and solve problems effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with heavy civil construction projects. - Certifications related to concrete production or plant management. - Knowledge of computerized plant control systems. - Experience working in employee-owned company environments.
