Role Overview: As a Door and Hardware Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of door and hardware projects from inception to completion. Your role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop project plans and schedules. - You will manage procurement and installation of door and hardware materials, ensuring compliance with specifications. - You will oversee project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance. - You will conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly. - You will ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards. - You will lead and mentor project team members to foster a collaborative work environment. - You will prepare detailed project documentation and status reports for stakeholders. - You will identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing door and hardware or related construction projects. - Strong knowledge of door and hardware products, installation techniques, and building codes. - Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. - Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). - Experience with commercial construction and contract administration. - Familiarity with ADA compliance and accessibility standards. - Knowledge of sustainable building practices and materials.
