Job Title: Door and Hardware Project Manager Company Overview: Kimmel and Associates is a leading commercial contractor known for delivering high-quality, turnkey solutions across various sectors. Role Overview: As a Door and Hardware Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of door and hardware projects from inception to completion. Your role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop detailed project plans and schedules. - You will manage procurement and installation of door and hardware products, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes. - You will oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. - You will conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety standards are met. - You will lead project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. - You will ensure all documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports, are accurate and up to date. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any project-related challenges promptly to maintain project timelines. - You will collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold high standards and client satisfaction. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction or door and hardware industry. - You bring strong knowledge of door and hardware products, installation processes, and relevant building codes. - You bring excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. - You bring proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You bring strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and client relationships. - You bring a proactive problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with AutoCAD or other design software. - Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). - Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building practices. - Previous experience working in a collaborative Product and Service Group environment.
