Role Overview: As a Door and Hardware Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of door and hardware projects from inception to completion. Your role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop project plans and schedules. - You will manage procurement and installation of door and hardware materials, ensuring compliance with specifications. - You will oversee project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance. - You will conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly. - You will ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards. - You will lead and mentor project team members to foster a collaborative work environment. - You will prepare detailed project documentation and status reports for stakeholders. - You will troubleshoot and resolve any technical or logistical challenges that arise during projects. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction or door and hardware industry. - Strong knowledge of door and hardware products, installation processes, and industry standards. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). - Experience with AutoCAD or other design software. - Familiarity with building codes and ADA compliance requirements. - Previous experience working with subcontractors and vendors in the construction industry.
