Job Title: Door and Hardware Project Manager Company Overview: Kimmel and Associates is a leading commercial contractor known for delivering high-quality, turnkey solutions across various sectors. Role Overview: As a Door and Hardware Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of door and hardware projects from inception to completion. Your role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. What You'll Do: - You will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to plan and execute door and hardware projects. - You will manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. - You will oversee installation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. - You will conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain project standards. - You will resolve any project-related issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns. - You will prepare detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders. - You will lead and mentor project team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction or door and hardware industry. - Strong knowledge of door and hardware products, installation techniques, and relevant building codes. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and teams. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). - Experience with AutoCAD or other design software. - Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building practices. - Previous experience working in a collaborative Product and Service Group environment.
