The Sales & Marketing Manager plays an important role in accelerating growth for our KidStrong Centers. This position is ultimately responsible for meeting and exceeding goals and targets related to member growth, retention, and community engagement. In this critical position, the Sales & Marketing Manager will demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for the KidStrong brand and curriculum in order to meet and exceed sales and lead generation goals. The Sales & Marketing Manager must have a laser focus on meeting and exceeding numbers and be obsessed with lead generation and follow up. Flawless maintenance of company generated leads through phone calls and outreach is a must. Dedication to building the lead pipeline through community engagement and self-generated partnerships is required. This is NOT a 9a-5p job. For the Sales & Marketing Manager to be successful, making calls and interacting with parents when they are available (mornings, evenings, and weekends) may be required. Attending events in the evening and on the weekends is required. You will be able to make calls from home AND will be required to come into the center to help with the front desk when needed. Additionally, this role will go out into the community spreading the word through grassroots marketing about KidStrong! You will also be in charge of our social media accounts. Flexibility in availability is REQUIRED! RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (100+ calls/day is typical effort) ● The Sales & Marketing Manager must execute sound communication with the centers they support in order to ensure observations, trials, and new members receive a world-class experience when starting their KidStrong journey. ● Self-management and motivation to exceed KidStrong sales & lead targets ● Oversee the sales process and systems ● Manage sales data and have ability to present to regional leadership an assessment of sales results and plans to drive the overall portfolio performance ● Work closely with the Area Developer and Center Director on seamless process in scheduling trials, and enrollments by managing and following up on inbound leads, and complying with KidStrong Sales' recommended processes ● Respond and follow through in a timely manner with all KidStrong owner requests and client/ lead requests ● Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service beyond the sale to protect brand integrity ● Create and implement quarterly community engagement plans to drive lead generation and support brand awareness ● Proactively source partnerships and corporate sales opportunities ● Post, Engage, Manage & reply on all of our Social Media channels ● Willingness to pitch in to support center-level initiatives - i.e. center maintenance, training, etc. ● Sales & Marketing Manager will work 4 weekdays and at least 1 weekend day, with specific hours based on the needs of the centers they support ● Required to attend team meetings and community events QUALIFICATIONS: ● 2+ years of experience in health, fitness, child development or hospitality sales & marketing is strongly preferred ● Availability to work the schedule required. This is not a 9a-5p job. Mobility to support the territory is required. ● Experience with the following systems is preferred but not required; Glofox, Podium, HubSpot, and Google Sheets/Docs/Meetings. ● Prior experience in outbound phone sales is strongly preferred (200+ calls/day is typical effort) ● Proven track record of exceeding sales targets/quota ● Strong sales mentality and comfort level with outbound sales efforts ● Demonstrated urgency during promotional cycles to maximize return on ad spend ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills ● Social Media management experience ● Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence ● Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor ● Practical work experience using Microsoft Office Products ● Prior CRM experience (Salesforce, etc.) is strongly preferred Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not directly supervise any employees. Sphere of Interaction The Sales & Marketing Manager will work closely with the Center's General Manager and Asst General Manager, Area Directors within the Region, KidStrong families and potential members.
