We are seeking an Assistant Director who is passionate about early childhood education, dedicated to team development, and committed to maintaining the high standards of care and curriculum that families expect from Kids R Kids. Key Responsibilities As Assistant Director, you will partner with the Center Director to ensure daily operations run smoothly and staff feel supported and empowered. Your role will focus heavily on team support, coaching, and training, including: • Providing ongoing support, mentorship, and training for teachers and staff. • Helping to onboard and develop new team members to ensure quality and consistency. • Supporting classroom coverage when needed and modeling best practices. • Partnering with the Director to plan and implement professional development. • Building strong relationships with staff, families, and children. • Supporting curriculum implementation and maintaining compliance with state licensing. • Assisting with scheduling, communication, and other administrative needs. Qualifications • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting. • Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices. • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff in a positive, professional way. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Must meet state licensing requirements for Assistant Director. • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
