Assist with administrative tasks, manage youth appointments, and support youth program activities.
High school diploma or equivalent with clerical experience, bilingual in English and Spanish, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Kids In Crisis is Connecticut's ONLY free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises, including domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more. REPORTS TO: UC Program Director Responsibilities: • Support UC Administrative Team • Data entry and reports • Ordering supplies • Managing youth appointments • Youth Workers scheduling • Tracking trainings • E-Mail correspondence • Troubleshooting • Overseeing clothing, food, fire drills and weekly/monthly task completion • Monitor and report on Apricot data system • Transport youth to appointments • Back-up coverage for youth workers Essential Functions: • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.; ability to Stand and sit for long periods • Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements • English / Spanish fluency required • Bachelor's Degree or High School Degree with 2 years of clerical related experience • Strong ability to multi-task and work with multi-disciplinary team • Excellent organizational, computer, oral and written skills
