Kidde Global Solutions is searching for a Senior-Level Engineering Document Specialist to join the Product Safety and Compliance team. In this position, you will have responsibility to help create chemical BOMs for products, develop methods for tagging and tracking controlled documents and critical components for product compliance, and develop tools using Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Flow to streamline product compliance requests for changes to existing parts and document retrieval. Other duties may include managing a database for certificates and test reports as well as uploading documents into the ERP System for products related to Residential Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors, Alarms, and Fire Extinguishers. Key Responsibilities As a Senior-Level Engineering Document Specialist, you'll be expected to: Help implement process improvements and projects to increase team productivity. Provide timely and appropriate resolutions to escalations of functions supported. Manage information and applicable supporting documents, including compliance certificates, vendor DoCs and other applicable documents for product registration, in different compliance databases, such as Sharepoint and PDXpert. Professionally communicate with parties inside and outside of the compliance department serving as a strong representative for our team and company. Basic Qualifications Associates of Science Degree, with an emphasis on engineering or computer programming. 4+ years of experience working with regulatory compliance 8+ years of experience with ERP systems such as PDXpert, SAP, JDE, etc. 4+ years of experience with Microsoft suite of collaborative tools such as Sharepoint, PowerBi, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Flow. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of PDXpert, SAP or other ERP systems. Passionate about enhancing cross-functional collaboration between engineering and supply-chain. Demonstrated expertise in setting up tools and processes that ensure consistency and standardization across systems. Innovative thinker, always seeking the next technical challenge to accomplish. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
