Stock Manager, Kick Pleat Houston Reports to: Store Manager and Operations Manager Austin-based since 2003, KICK PLEAT is a high-end, multi-brand establishment with storefronts in Austin, Houston and Dallas. The Kick Pleat Stock Manager is intended to cover a variety of areas of retail. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how the business functions as a whole. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Oversee receiving and shipping of all merchandise. This includes web orders, orders to in-store clients, and intra-company shipments. • Prepare and steam incoming inventory to provide stylists with newly received pieces. We receive new inventory daily • Communicate closely with the Operations Manager about damages, repairs, and RAs • Work with the Austin team to fulfill web orders as needed • Participate in the in-store inventory process • Light errands and local deliveries • Maintain and organized back of house inventory of merchandise and supplies. Report when supplies are low, before the stock is completely out Position Requirements: Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal skills are a must. Contributes to an outstanding working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to assist others. Must be flexible to work retail hours, including holidays and weekends. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with strong communication and time management skills. Interest in luxury retail is a plus.
