K & G Petroleum LLC is a privately owned, growing company involved in all areas of fuel and convenience stores with branded Conoco, 7-11 and Jenny's Market stations across the Denver metro area. The Manager In Training position is responsible for maintaining and operating a Company-owned retail facility in a safe, customer focused, and profitable manner. Support the Store Manager in daily operations, managing employees, and the store, especially when the manager is not in the store. This includes supervision and training of employees as well as managing sales and expenses to optimize results. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a positive, team oriented, management style. If you have an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude and the knowledge and skills listed below, we want to talk to you! Duties and Responsibilities • Managing the store in regard to daily operations, employees, payroll, merchandizing, customer relations. • Enforcing company and governmental rules, regulations, policies, and audits, to be in compliance. • Maintain good customer relation and resolving customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner. • Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform all financial analyses to maximize sales and profits. • Safeguard and account for cash received and disbursed, and be responsible for banking requirements.
